The British Lung Foundation’s COPD Project was set up in January 2007 to raise awareness of COPD among the general public through events and campaigns and to share information and expertise among people living with COPD and health care professionals in light of the forthcoming National Clinical Strategy for COPD in England. We’re finding the missing millions! Since April 2008, we’ve run 38 awareness raising events, tested 4822 people and referred 859 people to their GP with a low lung function.
