Birthday Celebration
BE Grantham held their 5th birthday party on Wednesday 27 October. Along with a buffet and cake, BE Grantham enjoyed entertainment from singer Trevor Leeson. The group presented a cheque to the British Lung Foundation for £1000.
Breathe Easy Week 2010
BE Grantham held a very successful tombola stall outside Morrisons in the Issac Newton shopping centre in Grantham. The group had a great morning, raising a total of £236.
Christmas Party 2009
Breathe Easy Grantham held their Christmas party on Wednesday 9 December. There was a fantastic turnout of 42 people. The afternoon was a great success and everybody had a really good time. The group even invited a comedian to come along and provide the entertainment! He is pictured below (left), alongside group members in their party hats!
Update from Breathe Easy Grantham's latest group meeting
30 members from Breathe Easy Grantham attended the group meeting on Wednesday 28th October to hear Ian Jarrold's talk on the British Lung Foundation's research programmes. They would like to say a big thank you to Ian, who traveled up from London and gave them a fantastic incite into the latest research developments. The group also enjoyed tea, coffee and a raffle with some lovely prizes that were donated by members. The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and has been described as one of Breathe Easy Grantham's best meetings! Thanks again to Ian!
Breathe Easy Grantham lunch trip
On Tuesday 21st October, members of Breathe Easy Grantham went out for a meal at The Farrier. There was a strong turn out of 23 and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Below, members of the group are pictured enjoying a drink before the meal.
