Breathe Easy Week 2010
Breathe Easy Derby held a fundraising and awareness raising stand Royal Derby Hospital on 8 June, where they spoke to over 40 patients and members of the public about Breathe Easy and the BLF.
World COPD Day 2009
Breathe Easy Derby and District held a stand in the foyer of Derby Royal Hospital. There was a lot of traffic throughout the day and many people picked up leaflets. One of the highlights was talking to a lady from the Red Cross who asked for copies of all leaflets to send to her contacts.
Breathe Easy Derby and District win award
Breathe Easy Derby and District have recently won a Breath of Fresh Air Award 08-09 for Outstanding Service over 5 years. The group celebrate their 5 year anniversary this year and have made an invaluable contribution to the local community since their establishment. They have provided much-needed support and information to people affected by a lung condition and helped to raise awareness of lung disease. Congratulations Breathe Easy Derby and District!
