Breathe Easy Week 2010
BE Cannock held a variety of events to mark BE Week and the BLF’s 25th anniversary, including a Golf Day, which raised around £500 and was featured in the local newspaper, a group cheese and wine evening, and a garden party which raised over £800.
World COPD Day 2009
On World COPD Day Breathe Easy Cannock held an information stand at a local ASDA and carried out lung age testing. They joined forces with Smoking Cessation
and Healthy Eating, who also had stands, to raise awareness of COPD. In spite of the cold weather, the group spoke to around 100 people and piles of leaflets were quickly depleted! Group members, and their fantastic stand, are pictured below.
Breathe Easy Week 2009
Breathe Easy Cannock held a garden party. The party took place in beautiful surroundings and the weather stayed dry.
Visitors were able to enter a raffle and a name-the-teddy competition, have a go on the tombola and enjoy a cream tea, as well as browsing the book, plant and bric-a-brac stalls. The group raised a total of nearly £900 on the day.
