How to apply to become a BLF Active Instructor
Course entry requirements
- NVQ level 3 in Exercise and Fitness
- 150 hours of teaching land based classes to adults in the last 2 years (100 hours of practical experience in exercise teaching/instructing over the past year, COPD related if applying for a bursary)
- Completed endorsement form from local pulmonary rehabilitation team
- Personal liability insurance
- Current valid first aid certificate
- Character reference from your present employer
- Current CRB disclosure (if applying for a bursary)

May 2010 - due to begin at the end of May but start and contact day dates are yet to be confirmed. The cut off date for applications for this course is 4th May 2010.

Application Pack
To apply for a place on the Chronic Respiratory Disease Exercise Instructor Course please print off and complete the downloadable application pack (click here or on the icon at the top right of this page) and return it with copies of all the relevant qualifications and forms to the address contained with in the pack no later than Tuesday 4th May 2010.

- Course requirments
- Application form
- Pulmonary rehabilitation endorsement form
- Guidance notes for application (specifically for those wishing to apply for a BLF bursary)
