Over the past two years, the team has delivered events and campaigns to raise awareness of the early warning signs of lung disease and encourage earlier diagnosis of COPD through inviting targeted members of the public to visit our stands to receive advice, information and a free lung function test.
Information for Healthcare providers and workplaces
We have been working closely with Primary Care Trusts in England, Health Boards in Scotland and workplaces to help ‘Find the Missing Millions’ of people living with undiagnosed COPD and deliver a preventative message to those at risk.

We’re finding the missing millions! Since April 2008, we’ve run 92 awareness raising events, tested 11794 people and referred 2105 people to their GP with a low lung function.
