GIFT AID DECLARATION - Increase your donation at no extra cost to you!
Make your donation worth almost a third more to us at no extra cost to you!
If you are a UK taxpayer and the amount of income tax or capital gains tax you pay equals, or is more than, the amount of tax we would claim back on your donation, you are eligible to register for Gift Aid.
Gift Aid enables us to receive the equivalent of 28% of your donation back from the Inland Revenue. Find out how much more your donation could be worth with the Gift Aid calculator below:

Higher rate tax payers
If you are a higher rate tax payer, you can also claim back the difference between the basic and higher rate tax. That means that for every pound you give away, you can get 20p back from the taxman – which you can keep, or give to charity.
Donors who complete a Self Assessment tax return will have the option to gift back the higher rate element of the tax relief to the British Lung Foundation. Simply fill in our Charity Code: GAH98XG in box 19a of the Full SA tax return form or section 12 on the Short SA tax return.
Donors who do not complete a Self Assessment tax return can call their tax office and have the higher rate relief reflected in their PAYE tax code.
