Help us make the difference between life and death. The British Lung Foundation has a range of innovative projects that require funding. These range from those which provide support for people affected by lung disease to funding world class research which helps to improve our understanding of lung disease, its treatment and prevention.

Here are just some of the projects you can help us fund:

• Medical Research:
  Donate money towards medical research into lung disease. Some of the conditions we fund are: Asthma, Cystic fibrosis, Lung cancer, Chest infections and Chronic Obstructive Pulonary Disease (COPD).
• Publications:
  Donate money to fund the development and dissemination of our publications on a broad range of topics surrounding lung disease. These are essential in providing support to those directly affected by lung disease and those that love them.
• BLF Helpline:
  Our helpline service offers free, confidential and impartial advice, information and support on a number of subjects including travel & transport, oxygen, equipment, welfare benefits, as well as many issues relating to over 40 lung conditions. The BLF can only continue this service with the support of friends like you.
• Breathe Easy:
  Across the UK we run and support Breathe Easy support group networks. They provide support and information for people living with a lung condition and for those who look after them. People with lung conditions can often feel alone. Breathe Easy gives people the opportunity to make friends so they no longer feel isolated.
• BLF Active:
  BLF Active is a fantastic scheme that trains fitness instructors to deliver exercise classes specifically for people with chronic lung disease, with the aim of improving the participants’ quality of life. We can only continue this service with support from our corporate partners.
• BLF Nurses:
  The BLF Nurses play a key role in improving the quality of care for patients by reducing unplanned hospital admissions, facilitating early discharge, nurse led clinics in the community and improving patient self-management skills. There are currently 43 BLF Nurses across the UK but with one person in seven affected by lung disease there is a need for more nurses. Your company can help us develop more posts and recruit more nurses.

Gifts in Kind

Your company can donate office supplies, equipment or services to the British Lung Foundation. As well as this we are always looking for auction and raffle prize donations for our events. This can be the perfect way to raise your profile and showcase your product lines.

Donate a Venue

The BLF is always looking for exciting new locations and venues to hold our events. By offering your theatre, conference facilities, gallery, restaurant or sporting facilities will significantly reduce our costs, raise awareness of your company and at the same time showcase your venue to a new audience.
