Location: Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
Africas highest peak at 5896m, Kilmanjaro is also the highest freestanding mountain in the world. Hugh permanent glaciers flow from its snow-capped summit, which rises high above the dusty plains; these views are the reward for pushing your limits both physically and mentally. The trek takes the less trodden and more gradual Machame route; allowing better acclimatization to the altitude.
