Upcoming awareness events

Over the past three years, the team has delivered events and campaigns to raise awareness of the early warning signs of lung disease and encourage earlier diagnosis of COPD through inviting targeted members of the public to visit our stands to receive advice, information and a free lung function test.

As of July 2011, we have run 91 awareness events, we've tested 12004 people and we've referred 2241 people to their GP with a low lung function.

The British Lung Foundation is holding a Love Your Lungs campaign in Hull in Febrauary 2012. Members of the public are invited to come down and have a free lung test at one of the following events:
