One person is seven in the UK is affected by a lung disease. Whether it is mild asthma or lung cancer, the British Lung Foundation is here for every one of them. We focus our resources on providing support for people affected by lung disease today; and work in a variety of ways to bring about positive change, to improve treatment, care and support for people affected by lung disease now and in the future.
The British Lung Foundation is looking for a Project Manager to manage its new Asthma Project. This project centres on improving the delivery of asthma services to enable people with asthma to receive better, more effective services.
You will need to have proven experience in project and budget management and strong written and verbal communication skills. Ideally you should have managed diverse stakeholder groups before and be able to work closely in partnership with senior figures and influential stakeholders in the NHS in addition to patients.
This role will involve UK travel and some overnight stays.
