Peter Corbett has been Finance Director of Post Office Ltd since 2001. His key accountabilities are ensuring that the company has adequate funding to carry out its business and ensuring that the company hits its profit and cash targets, as well as ensuring that the companies assets are appropriately safeguarded.
Prior to joining Post Office Ltd he spent 17 years with Sony Music Entertainment in the UK , USA and Europe, most recently as Senior Vice President of Finance, Operations and Administration for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, based in Frankfurt and Berlin. Previously he was Vice President, Business Planning and Analysis at the Sony Music International HQ in New York and Director, Financial Services in London. Prior to that he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young in London
Peter has a degree in Philosophy and Modern Languages from OxfordUniversity. He is married with four daughters and lives in Epsom, although he grew up in Bolton and is a keen follower of Bolton Wanderers.
