The North region covers a wide area, including Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Co. Durham, Cleveland, Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.
There are 31 Breathe Easy groups across the region, which provide help, information and support to those living with lung disease, their friends, family and carers. Groups get involved with many activities from awareness raising to fundraising.
The BLF North team of staff and volunteers also work to influence positive change in respiratory services within regional and local NHS organisations; work with voluntary sector and other strategic bodies; and campaign for better lung health throughout the region.
