Breathless residents can breathe a sigh of relief

A British Lung Foundation (BLF) event is being held in Hull next week to offer support to breathless residents in the area.

The lung information day will be held on Thursday 29 July, 1pm to 4pm in the Community Room at The Orchard Centre, 210 Orchard Park Road, Hull. Guest speakers at the event include Erica Daley from Hull Primary Care Trust and Karen Dexter a specialist respiratory nurse.

The BLF, the only UK charity working to support everyone affected by lung disease, is hosting the event to ensure that patients in the Hull area can access the help they might need. There will also be information stands where patients can pick up information leaflets.

Bev Wears, Support and Development Manager for the North, said: “Here at the BLF we want to ensure that everyone across the country who has a lung condition has access to help and support. One in seven people in the UK have a lung condition and we are the only charity here to help them all. It’s important that these people get the help they need and I hope Hull residents find the day helpful.”
