Legacies

When you make a will, not only do you have the chance to provide for your loved ones but you can also help create a better future for those living with lung disease. For many, leaving a legacy is the only time they will be able to give a substantial gift to charity, much more than they could ever afford during their lifetime.

This aspect of donating is crucial - in some cases legacy gifts have funded entire research projects.

Why I’m leaving the British Lung Foundation a Legacy…

Picture of Val and Nigel Grieve

Lung disease has greatly affected my life. From childhood, to this day, I have been surrounded by people with one form of lung disease or another. So when I die, and after the grandchildren have been taken care of, the British Lung Foundation will not be forgotten." - Val Grieve
